Arrivals, Departures and Transportation

Participants can arrive up to 48 hours before the event (August 22) and stay up to 36 hours after the closing ceremony (29 August). Please note that the programme allows arrivals on August 24 (before 10:00 AM) and departures on August 28 (from 2:00 PM onwards). 

The official entry points are:

  • Åre Östersund Airport
  • Östersund Central Station (railway station)

To arrive in Sweden, Östersund, you can come by Stockholm (Sweden) or by Trondheim (Norway). From those points, you’ll be able to join the above-mentioned official entry points by plane or by train.

Transportation from the official entry points to accommodation will be arranged by the Organising Committee. Volunteers will be available at the airport to assist all participants upon arrival.

Transportation from the accommodation sites and Forum venues will be organised by the Organising Committee.
